Looks like humans will never broaden their outlook. All this talk about something not being science sounds very intellectual, but it is so only at the surface. Those who talk about science first of all have a very narrow idea of science. Science can be done in many ways, but to most of us it must be done as physics is done. This is a narrow view. Physics has made great strides and I fully appreciate its achievements in the past four hundred years. But not everything can be covered by the method of physics. Unfortunately, anything that cannot be explained through the methods of physics is dubbed as unscientific. Because of this narrow view, many other sciences are dying away. Modern science is doing to other disciplines, what was done to it in the middle ages. Now the hunted has become the hunter.

It is time people woke up to the fact that physics just cannot explain many things because they are beyond its scope. Homoeopathy is a great system, and we must not dismiss it just because we don’t know how it exactly works, rather we can’t prove how it works.

There is no time for a detailed discussion here, but let me assure the readers that it is not plain sugar pills, it is not a placebo because homoeopathic medicine works extremely well on infants, and even patients who are unconscious.

So, might be looking for a script to do all this auto-magically for you ... No problem, feel free to download wordpress-2.2.1-patch.tar.gz or wordpress-2.3.1-patch.tar.gz, contains a few patches and the addblog.sh script.

Here is a README file for further details and, or instructions.

Have a nice day!

Notably:

http://www.farmaciasfrancesco.it/Lancet_Omeopatia.pdf

None of the above concludes something useful for the mankind; IMHO, these obviously are paid efforts to nothing, but protect prescribed (scientifically validated) drugs by pharmaceutical mafia.

gar: your're right, the words 'assiduous' and particularly 'industrious' are better synonyms for day to day use, I like 'sedulous' otherwise indeed.

Wanderer: Nothing is perfect, not even the God in this world!

Homeopathy, though howsoever ancient is based on scientific study, even when the then science was still in its infancy. All this has already been proved and, or can be backed by homeopathic trials and, or better known as proving in homeopathic philosophy; the placebos are also included in these trials.

Not only at one, two and, or three, but many a times during my studies I also felt like this; then I actually was just a student of this science.

I know, and expect you might also be aware of the fact that this one is quite a critical topic to be discussed over a blog.

Only problem with homeopathy is that it is based on 16th century science - alchimy, magic principles, and just plain bad ideas.
Now, why does it seem to bring results ?
-placebo effect ?
-some other effect we havent yet explained ?

As it stands, the homeopathic principle doesnt stand, sorry.

Well, part of medicine is to make ill people feel that someone is taking care of them, give them a positive feedback while their body is recovering and doing the work (fixing what is wrong). Homeopathy still has a future.
I look forward hearing about serious studies.

> > > > You're welcome!

> > > > > > when I try to build it, it automatically builds X11 and other graphic
> > > > > > utils even if I do not select GUI client at initial configuration
> > > > > > screen. Is it correct behavior?
> > > >
> > > > Nope, it should not build X11 and, or GUI Client unless we check/select
> > > > this option, let me check; I shall be back to you soon.
> >
> > yes, it seems it does it. I have tried on another machine (this time
> > it was 5.4) and it was the same: cairo, gtk, atk, x11 ... etc...

Well, there was a bug in port's Makefile; I have corrected it and have
updated the pkg-plist file accordingly. Please down load and reinstall
the ports again -- http://cto.homelinux.net/~bsd/?p=9

To rebuild:

# cd /usr/ports/comms/spandsp-devel
# make deinstall
# cd /usr/ports/net/yate-devel
# make clean rmconfig deinstall reinstall

Cheers!
